We’re excited to share some big updates on our first game! The journey so far has been full of discoveries, and today we’re pulling back the curtain on some of the progress we’ve made.
A Glimpse at the World
Our game’s visuals are shaping up beautifully, blending a comic book-inspired style with a cinematic edge. Daniel is giving it his all with the level of care he's putting into the style. We're still ironing out the details of the style to get it just right, but we’ve included some stills below to give you a sneak peek at the environment and characters:
Here's the first set dressing test using the style:

And here’s some of the concept art that Manuel has been working on to bring world to life:
The attention to detail has really helped our 3D artist Santiago bring the model to life.

Gameplay Mechanics in Motion
We’ve also been refining the gameplay. The core mechanics are built around fixed camera angles to create a cinematic experience, reminiscent of classic survival horror. The props are placeholders without our style applied, but here’s a short clip showcasing how the camera transitions dynamically to enhance the atmosphere:
Rethinking Tank Controls
During playtesting, we experimented with tank controls for player movement. While they offer a nostalgic nod to survival horror classics, we’ve found they can feel cumbersome for modern audiences.
To make the game more accessible and enjoyable, we’re moving towards a more intuitive control system. This shift will still honor the fixed-camera, cinematic style but allow for smoother, more engaging gameplay.
What’s Next?
We’re continuing to refine both the mechanics and the narrative, balancing innovation with the nostalgic elements we love. The feedback received so far has been invaluable, and we’re excited to keep sharing updates as the game evolves.
Thank you for your support as we work to create something truly memorable!
